Birdwatching at Republic of Trinidad and Tobago


Republic of Trinidad and Tobago is a natural paradise at the southernmost of the Caribbean. This country constitute by two main islands which are Trinidad and Tobago. Just like Malaysia, this country has tropical climate too. Hence, tourist may have different activities in this two amazing islands. Birdwatching is one of the famous recreational activities in this country. 


Trinidad also called as “Land of the Hummingbird”. More than 400 different species of neo-tropical bird can be found in Trinidad. Birdwatching can be done with the naked eye or through a visual enhancement device like binoculars and telescopes. 


People may visit Asa Wright Nature Centre, which is a birdwatching center of the world. For bird lover or professional, there are cottages to stay in. They also can enjoy the multi-day birding tour packages at the centre. Besides that, people may also select a single day visit to the centre, then spend another days for other activities. 



Other than birdwatching, there are also many beaches, caves, rainforests and waterfalls. Tourist can enjoy the sunlight at beach, snorkelling in sea, leatherbacks turtle watching, adventure at caves and shopping in the city.
